Tressé: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The village center of Tressé has changed little since 1826 and still features a distinctive village-street layout.

Nature and Trails

The Forêt du Mesnil covers nearly 600 hectares and consists of three quarters deciduous forest and one quarter coniferous forest. Several hiking and educational trails cross the forest and are suitable for walks on foot or by bicycle. The Forêt du Mesnil also contains an old charcoal-burning mound and the Étang de Mireloup pond at the edge of the forest.

The covered passage grave „La Maison des Fées“ is located in the Forêt domaniale du Mesnil, near the municipality of Mesnil-Roc’h – Tressé.

Culture

The Calvaire du Bas Rouault was built in 1904 as a mission cross as part of an evangelization campaign. The interior of the Église Saint-Étienne is designed in the Neo-Byzantine style and was also designed by Arthur Regnault.

Archaeological excavations south of the hamlet of Bas Rouault uncovered a Gallo-Roman pottery workshop for brick production between 1986 and 1987.

Trails

The Circuit de La Roche aux Fées circular route starts at the Place de la Mairie in Tressé. It is rated easy and takes around two hours on foot or approximately 45 minutes by mountain bike.
