Hiking
The Vallée du Serein hiking route is 10 km long, takes 3 hours, has a moderate difficulty level and starts at the Place de l’église in Treffendel. It leads to the Étang du Gué Charet.
The Sentier botanique du « Serein » runs for 3.5 km through the municipalities of Monterfil and Treffendel, following the Le Serein stream. An accompanying booklet about this trail and the plants found along it is available at Monterfil Town Hall.

Treffendel à vélo is an 18 km circular route around the municipality, following small, lightly trafficked roads.

Parc de Treffendel is an amusement park set in a 10-hectare wooded area. Parc de Treffendel includes an animal park with exotic animals; it also offers circus workshops, courses for groups and shows.
Culture and history
The Chapelle Notre-Dame, le Coudray (Treffendel), was rebuilt in 1627. Only a few sections of the chapel’s walls remain.
