Gosné is shaped by the Étang d’Ouée to the north, while the Illet River crosses the southern part of the area from east to west. At the Étang d’Ouée, located near Gosné, visitors can go canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing.

The « Le Meneur de Loups » circular trail is certified by the Fédération Française de Randonnée.

Churches and Historic Buildings

The Notre-Dame de la Visitation church in Gosné was rebuilt in 1903 based on plans by Arthur Regnault; the construction work was officially accepted on 18 October 1904. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross, complemented by a Breton neo-Gothic tower.

The central part of the Manoir de Landeronde does not appear to date back earlier than the 17th century. The estate is located near the Étang d’Ouée and comprises a main residence, two southern pavilions, a northern barn and a garden greenhouse.

The present-day Moulin d’Ouée was built at the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century. It stands on a site where an older mill had previously been located.

The Abbaye Notre-Dame-du-Nid-au-Merle is located in the vicinity of Gosné. In the wider surrounding region are the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the historic site of Abbaye Notre-Dame-en-Saint-Melaine, the historic site of Châteaugiron Castle and the Jardin du Parc garden.
