Culture and History
The present-day parish church of Notre-Dame in Bourg-des-Comptes was built in 1851 by the architect Charles-Louis Langlois. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; it also has a square entrance bell tower with a stone spire and Gothic Revival architecture.
In 1224, Josselin de Montauban, Bishop of Rennes, transferred the church to Saint-Jacques de Montfort Abbey.
