La Chapelle-Des-Fougeretz: Holiday apartments and houses

The Parc du Matelon brings together several clearly designated facilities in La Chapelle-des-Fougeretz: the park includes leisure and play areas, an orchard, community gardens and the Jardin marocain. The Parcours CRAPA, a sports trail with five exercise stations, is located at the Étang du Matelon. The Étang du Matelon is not intended for swimming or canoeing.

Nature and trails

The Jardin marocain covers 1,700 m² and can be visited year-round. It was created in 1998 as a joint project by the municipality and the Ville-Campagne and Mosaïque-Bretagne-Maroc associations. The Circuit des quatre saisons, a botanical discovery trail, also runs through the Parc du Matelon.

The Les Cinq Rottes circular walking trail starts in La Chapelle-des-Fougeretz. It is signposted at intersections with blue markings and wooden arrows and is accessible to pushchairs.

History and culture

The Église Saint-Joseph parish church was built in 1902 by the architect Arthur Régnault. The church houses a Mise au tombeau dating from the end of the 15th century and a Vierge de Pitié from the beginning of the 16th century.

The Pont Romain is signposted on the walking trails in the municipality of La Chapelle-des-Fougeretz. Its origins are uncertain; the small footbridge may have been built in connection with the construction of a dam or a mill weir.

The Médiathèque Au Pré Vert has more than 16,000 documents and just under 300 games, which can be used on site or borrowed.
