Thourie: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Circuit du Bois Guy hiking trail is 16.7 km long and starts at the car park by the Étang. The Étang de Thourie itself is a 2-hectare pond with a path running around it. At the Étang de Thourie, a wooden jetty enables people with disabilities to go fishing. Just a few steps from the Étang lies Thourie’s animal park, which is home to poultry, goats and Ouessant sheep. To the east, an approximately 80-hectare wooded area borders the municipality of Thourie.

Culture and History

The Musée de la ferme d’autrefois covers an area of more than 2,500 m². Around 116 tractors are exhibited there, illustrating the successive developments in mechanisation. The Musée de la ferme d’autrefois is temporarily closed. The Château de la Raimbaudière may be an 18th-century château.

Tradition and Dancing

At Les bals thourisiens, dancers of all ages can dance to the music of the respective orchestra on Sunday afternoons from September to May, starting at 2 p.m.
