Vern-sur-Seiche: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A notable natural area in Vern-sur-Seiche is the Vallée de la Seiche: the 30-hectare nature area encompasses the Étangs du Paturiaux and features a sandy beach. At the Base nautique de Vern-sur-Seiche, single kayaks and canoes for three people are available for hire. Canoe and kayak trips on the Seiche can begin at this base in a green natural setting. USV Canoë-Kayak, the Union sportive vernoise, offers canoe and kayak hire as well as courses in the Vallée de la Seiche all year round.

Culture

The Église Saint-Martin, an emblematic municipal building, stands in the center of Vern-sur-Seiche. The Manoir du Plessis is an 18th-century manor house; its grounds are open to visitors during the European Heritage Days. The Moulin des Bouillants is an 18th-century mill and is occasionally opened to visitors, particularly during the European Heritage Days. The Pont de Vaugon was built over the Seiche in 1763.

The Le Volume cultural center comprises a media library, an exhibition space, an auditorium, and a music and dance school; it hosts contemporary art exhibitions and offers film screenings. The park of the Château de Vern in the Clos Orrière is open to the public.
