Lassy: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Vallée du Canut in Lassy is a natural area protected by the département, where heathlands, forests and meadows alternate. The valley is home to 54 butterfly species and 13 protected mammal species, including eight bat species.

Trails

A marked 2.7-kilometre trail leads through the most scenic areas of the Vallée du Canut. The Circuit des Ruisseaux is a moderately difficult, 10-kilometre circular hiking route. It starts in Lassy and takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Chemin des Ruisseaux runs along sunken lanes and passes the Croix de l’Ollivrais. The Circuit des Landes leads through the Vallée du Canut across heathland.

Culture and history

The Église Saint-Martin was a priory church dependent on the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Paimpont. It is a former priory dating from the 16th and 17th centuries and was completely restored in 1999.

The Maison des Énergies houses two exhibition rooms in the former Moulin du Ritoir. There is a permanent exhibition on the history of energy, as well as temporary educational exhibitions. The Moulin du Ritoir ceased operations after the First World War. The former millers’ house at the Moulin du Ritoir offers activities and guided tours for groups. Next to the Moulin du Ritoir, a stone bridge spans the Canut and connects Lassy with Baulon.
