Pleurtuit: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Construction of the Église paroissiale Saint-Pierre in Pleurtuit began in 1873 according to plans by Arthur Regnault. It is one of Arthur Regnault’s early monumental neo-Gothic works. Elements from the former church, dating from the 12th and 14th centuries, were reused in it.

History and Culture

A significant shipyard was developed at the Montmarin estate from 1782 onwards, where up to 1,200 workers could be employed at the same time. A guided tour is offered for the gardens of Montmarin; you can also explore them at your own pace while enjoying views of the Rance.

The Saint-Antoine Chapel was first mentioned in 1540. Its bell in the campanile bears the date 1783, and the chapel was rebuilt several times, including in 1954.

In the vicinity of Pleurtuit are the Château de la Ville Huchet, the Fort de la Cité, the historic site of St. Philip Bastion, and the historic site of Estrees Gate.

Landscape

In the vicinity of Pleurtuit are the beaches of Plage du Mole and Plage de l'Éventail, as well as the islands of Île Harbour and Île Agot. Pointe de Cancaval lies in a landscape between land and sea with diverse flora and is a protected area of the département.

Paths

The voie verte connects Dinard with Tréméreuc and is intended exclusively for pedestrians, cyclists, and horse riders.
