Noyal-Sous-Bazouges: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Menhir de Landes-Ros, also known as Pierre Longue, is located in Noyal-sous-Bazouges. The approximately 6-metre-high menhir is topped with a small monolithic granite cross; its four flat sides are aligned with the cardinal directions.

Culture and history

The Noyal-sous-Bazouges heritage trail includes 15 interesting stops and leads through the heart of the village. It includes the Gothic door of the former church, dating from the 14th to the 15th century.

Another historical detail is the Maison des Plaids, also known as Maison Boullault. It is located at number 15 Rue Maréchal Ferrand in Noyal-sous-Bazouges and is dated 1566.

Around forty wayside crosses are scattered throughout the municipality. At the roadside there is also the Oratoire de saint Nicolas: a stone niche housing an old statue of Saint Nicholas. To this day, a healing custom is associated with this oratory, in which parents place their children's belongings around the statue.

Paths and landscape

The Circuit du Val begins at Place de l’église in Noyal-sous-Bazouges. A steep section of the circular route offers views of the municipalities of Marcillé-Raoul and Saint-Rémy-du-Plain.

Numerous streams shape hilly, green landscapes in Noyal-sous-Bazouges and form natural boundaries.
