La Mézière: Apartments and Holiday Homes

La Mézière has six municipal hiking routes. The trails are between 6.5 km and 15.7 km long; the Sentier de Montgerval also begins in La Mézière.

The Voie de la Liberté is also connected with the town: four of its markers stand within the municipality of La Mézière along the Saint-Malo–Rennes road. La Mézière is also listed as one of the municipalities along the Voie de la Liberté.

Culture

Case Départ is a literary award for comics in La Mézière, organised by the media library. Readers aged 8 to 12 can take part if they are registered with the Val d’Ille-Aubigné media library network. In Case Départ, participants vote for one to three comic titles from the selection.

The new Saint-Martin parish church was consecrated in 1871 and preserves the octagonal tower of the former church building. La Station Théâtre in La Mézière offers a programme of theatre performances and theatre workshops.

FunLab – BattleKart Rennes is an indoor karting track at 1 Rue de la Tordelière in La Mézière. BattleKart offers augmented-reality karting on a 2,000 m² track with real karts and projected virtual scenery. Non-members are also welcome, and BattleKart is suitable for beginners.

At Airfly Bretagne, the flight of a skydiver is simulated in a six-metre-high transparent tunnel with air speeds of more than 250 km/h.

Les Frères Jacks offers axe throwing in La Mézière. Certified instructors guide participants step by step; each session begins with a comprehensive safety briefing.

New Jump is an indoor leisure and amusement park with trampoline activities near La Balue in La Mézière. New Jump offers trampoline jumping and holiday courses, also welcomes non-members, and provides activities for adults and children of all skill levels.

Cuisine

Apples are harvested and apple juice is produced in the orchards of La Mézière.
