Culture and Archaeology

The archaeological sites of Menez Dregan in Plouhinec comprise a cave, a necropolis and a covered gallery, dating from the Palaeolithic to the Neolithic period around 5000 BC.

A nine-stage interpretation trail along the coast introduces the three archaeological sites of Menez Dregan. During the season, the Centre d'interprétation des sites archéologiques de Ménez Dregan offers free self-guided visits.

The restored and visitable water mill of Tréouzien is also still in operation and produces flour.

Coast and Beaches

Gwendrez combines white sand and turquoise water with level access and adapted rollways. The beach carries the Handiplage label and is considered a surfing beach outside the season.

Mesperleuc Beach is a wide beach with fine sand. It has a Tiralo, level access and adapted rollways, and also carries the Handiplage label. During the summer season, Mesperleuc is suitable for various beach sports.

Harbour, Trails and Surfing

The port of Pors Poulhan is now home to a flotilla of leisure boats. From there, the Dolmens – MTB 9 route leads to the Étang de Poulguidou, passing along beaches and the banks of the Goyen.

Soul Surfin' Skol is a surf school between Pointe du Raz and La Torche. It offers introductory courses, intensive courses, advanced training and regular training sessions. Soul Surfin' Skol also rents out surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits and fins.
