The Circuit des Goémoniers is a 9-kilometre circular hike along the coast of Plouescat. The route leads to Pointe de Pen an Theven, Baie du Kernic and the dunes of Keremma.

Culture and history
The Chapelle du Calvaire stands in Plouescat's municipal cemetery. It is a rectangular sacred building dedicated to Notre Dame du Mont Calvaire. The chapel was built in 1714 with donations from the wealthy wine merchant Jacques Marhic and his wife. Above its main entrance are skull boxes. These were used to hold the skulls of respected members of the clergy and other benefactors of the church.
