Plogoff: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Pointe du Raz is located in the territory of Plogoff and is part of the Grand Site de France “Pointe du Raz en Cap Sizun”. This Grand Site de France covers more than 2,000 hectares of remarkable landscapes and is connected by high-quality walking loops.

Landscape and Trails

The Pointe du Raz can be explored on the GR®34 independently or with a guide. Topics including fauna, flora and maritime heritage are covered. Between the Pointe du Raz and the Pointe du Van lies Plage de la Baie, which is described as a paradise for surfers.

The Maison du site provides information about marked trails through the heathland, exhibitions, film screenings in the auditorium and tourist information. During its opening hours, it also provides an electric shuttle for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

Culture and History

The parish church of Eglise paroissiale Saint-Collodan in Plogoff has a Latin-cross floor plan with a nave, side aisles and two chapels forming a transept. The oldest part of the church dates back to the 16th century.

The Chapelle Saint Michel lies south of the village of Lescoff. It is believed to date from the 16th century and is notable for its old statues and the beauty of its setting.

The church of Saint-They is located in the immediate vicinity of Plogoff. The surrounding area also includes Plage de Guendrez beach, Église Saint-Goulven church, and the islands of Tévennec, Kélaouro and Île de Sein. Église Notre-Dame de Roscudon church is also located nearby. Further afield in the Plogoff region are the ruins of Manoir du Coecilian.
