Plourin Les Morlaix: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the area around Plourin-lès-Morlaix, the Queffleuth has wooded banks and at times resembles a mountain stream. Its current is strong, numerous rocks lie in the river, and the Queffleuth is easily accessible here.

Culture and History

The Moulin de Coatanscour was built between 1560 and 1580 from large cut granite stones with buttresses. The miller lived in the mill; his work served a seigneurial function entrusted to him by the lords of Coatanscour. The façades and roofs of the Moulin de Coatanscour, as well as the mill dam at Coatanscour, were partially listed as a monument historique by decree of 8 February 2018.

The Chapelle Sainte-Philomène is a Neoclassical chapel dating from 1843. Between 2012 and 2015, the municipality of Plourin-lès-Morlaix renovated the chapel and converted it into an event space for performances, exhibitions and concerts.

The Chapelle Saint-Bernard belongs to the Manoir de Penlan, preserves its access to the avenue and is located in Plourin-lès-Morlaix. It dates from the first half of the 17th century and was built over a miraculous spring. Its classical architecture features two gables topped with carved chevronnières; an oculus is located in the western gable. The Chapelle Saint-Bernard is one of three surviving chapels in Plourin-lès-Morlaix.

The Fontaine Saint-Fiacre and part of the surrounding wall are the surviving remains of the Saint-Fiacre monastery. It was founded in 1660 by Vincent le Borgne, Seigneur de Lesquifiou, for the monks of the Minims congregation. The Croix de Stanennic is a medieval cross.
