Cléden-Cap-Sizun: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Pointe du Van site in Cléden-Cap-Sizun covers a total of 72.4 ha; 55.8 ha of this lies within the Cap Sizun Natura 2000 perimeter. During a guided nature walk at Pointe du Van, the paths lead through wind-shaped heathlands as well as past steep cliffs and discreet cultural heritage sites.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Tremeur was built in 1538 and overlooks the village of Trouguennour and the road from the centre of Cléden to the Loc’h. The Chapelle de Langroas, also known as the Chapelle de Sainte-Croix, is dedicated to Notre-Dame de Pitié, or Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs. Within the enclosed grounds of the Chapelle de Langroas there is a calvary by Roland Doré dating from the early 17th century.

At the Moulin de Trouguer, a Kandelou mill was built on site for educational purposes. Seven boats are carved into the exterior walls of the parish church of Saint-Clet. The Église Saint-Goulven and the Saint-They church are located in the vicinity of Cléden-Cap-Sizun. The Chapelle Saint-They has been listed as a historic monument since 1914 and is now in very good condition. The Église Notre-Dame de Roscudon is located in the vicinity of Cléden-Cap-Sizun, while the Manoir du Coecilian ruins are located in the wider regional area.

The Plage de Guendrez, classified as a beach, is located in the vicinity of Cléden-Cap-Sizun. The island of Tévennec and the island of Kélaouro are also located nearby. The Plage de Penhors, classified as a beach, is located in the wider regional area of Cléden-Cap-Sizun.

Activities

The circular trail “Les pointes du Raz et du Van” is an activity in Cléden-Cap-Sizun. The Fête de la moisson is celebrated on the second weekend of August.
