Trévron: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Church of Saint-Laurent in Trévron was rebuilt on the site of the former church and preserves a series of 15th-century arcades. Its slender Neo-Gothic bell tower is the work of Dinan architect Célestin Ramard and dates from 1869. In the churchyard stands the “croix nimbée”, carved from a single block of granite. It could be the one that Dom Eustache de Cramou donated in 1525 for Trévron’s former cemetery.

Culture and history

The Château du Chalonge lies southwest of Trévron’s town centre in the Guinefort valley. It combines a fortified tower made of dressed granite with a château from the Second Renaissance.

The Manoir du Chêne was built for the Sevestre family in the first half of the 15th century and retains its original layout.

The centre of Trévron lies on a hilltop above the Guinefort valley. The Guinefort is a small tributary of the Rance.

Cycling

The Voie Verte includes a 12 km section between Trévron and Médréac, laid out along a former railway line.
