Landéhen: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The route Au Pays de Saint-Guihen gives Landéhen a clear cultural and scenic trail: The circular route is 9.7 kilometres long, takes three hours and has a moderate level of difficulty. It starts at the car park opposite Landéhen Town Hall and passes places of worship as well as other municipal heritage sites.

Culture

In October 1948, the remains of Landéhen’s patron saint were brought to the church. The Fontaine Saint-Guihen remains a place of veneration for this patron saint to this day. The religious history of the area is also reflected at the Croix de la Bruyère: a significant procession took place there in 1870.

The Manoir des Salles dates from the 16th century and towers over the town centre. Its tower was built in the following century. The tower’s pinnacle is topped with a roof ornament made by skilled craftsmen from La Poterie.

Nature

The Fontaine Saint-Guihen is located on the edge of a forest. An educational apiary was established next to Landéhen church in 2017. The arboretum next to Landéhen church is a venue for exhibitions and artistic expression in the open air.
