The marked circular route Au fil du Gast follows the Gast between forest and countryside, crosses it several times, and leads through the Domaine de la Roche-Goyon. The estate was built in 1728. The circular route also allows you to discover Noyal’s nature, cultural heritage, panoramas, small anecdotes, and remarkable places.

Culture and History

The Ecuries des Routus date back to the 19th century and are visible from the road. Their red timber framing and brick corner details define their appearance. The Église Saint-Sébastien is built in the shape of a Latin cross and comprises a nave, transept, and choir with a polygonal apse. The foundation stone was laid in 1879, and the church was blessed in 1881. Inside are two polychrome wooden statues of Saint Sébastien and Saint Roch dating from the 17th century. The church cannot be visited outside services.

The Château des Portes in Noyal is included in the list of buildings protected as historic monuments in the Côtes-d’Armor département. The protection covers the entire residential building, the main courtyard, the former garden, the entrance gateway, the avenue and both side paths, the water-collection tank, the remains of the former chapel and orangery, and the barn.
