Lanleff: Holiday Apartments and Houses

At the heart of Lanleff stands the Temple de Lanleff, whose history and architectural form date back to the High Middle Ages. The ruins of the Rotonde dite Temple de Lanleff were classified as a historic monument under the 1889 list. At the same time, the Temple de Lanleff is considered possibly the oldest still-visible High Medieval structure in Côtes-d’Armor, perhaps even in Brittany.

Culture and History

The inner rotunda of the Temple de Lanleff has 12 arcades. The Temple de Lanleff also features two concentric enclosures in the Early Romanesque style. Another detail of the site is the Fontaine du Temple de Lanleff, which supplies a washhouse.

Near Lanleff lies the Château de Boisgelin, a château. The surrounding area is also home to L'Abbaye Maritime de Beauport, a monastery, as well as the islands of Île Lemenez, Île Mez de Goëlo and Le Taurel. Further afield in the region are the Château de Keralio, a château, Peter II Castle, a historic site, and Kermagen Plage, a beach.

Landscape and Trails

The Circuit du Temple de Lanleff runs through the wooded Leff Valley. The GR®P Trégor Goëlo also brings the Temple de Lanleff to life along its route. In this way, the temple’s architectural details, as well as the landscape and trails through the valley, take center stage.

Events

The Marché aux Plantes de Lanleff was held for the ninth time in 2026. Around 30 professional exhibitors took part. The Marché aux plantes de Lanleff 2024 featured carefully selected local nursery growers.

Les Vendredis de Lanleff offer a karaoke program to round off the summer. Les Routes de Lanleff is a festival promoting artistic creation.
