Trébeurden: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Trébeurden showcases its maritime side particularly impressively at Le Castel: unusually shaped rock formations meet a maritime landscape here. The rocks of Le Castel are 300 million years old, and the site is also a walking destination with its own geological character.

Landscape

The Circuit des douaniers is a circular hike in Trébeurden that leads from Le Castel to Goas Lagorn. Another coastal landmark is Plage de Pors Mabo: it lies below the cliffs of Pors Mabo and along the GR 34 in Trébeurden.

Île Milliau can be reached on foot via two possible routes. The Vallée de Goas Lagorn contains a 47-hectare property belonging to the Conservatoire du littoral. At Marais du Quellen, a marked path leads around a 23-hectare area along old, high and wide embankments.

Culture

Historical sites include the Allée couverte et menhir de Prajou-Menhir, which was classified as a historic monument by decree of 23 January 1956. The Chapelle de Penvern is listed as a historic monument.

The Le Sémaphore cultural centre presents performances featuring singers, comedians, actors, puppeteers and other musicians. Trébeurden's cultural spectrum therefore ranges from stone evidence of history to various forms of performing arts.

Activities

The Ecole de Voile de Trébeurden offers sailing courses, rentals, private lessons, nautical excursions and adapted handi-sailing activities. Its programme includes activities with catamarans, dinghies, windsurf boards, sea kayaks, paddleboards and a shared sailing boat.

The Centre d'Activité Plongée offers introductory dives, fin tours, exploration dives and scuba-diving courses from the age of eight under the guidance of diving instructors. Three boats are available for this purpose; activities take place daily during the summer season.

Trébeurden market: The weekly market offers regional products and handicrafts. During the summer months, it doubles in size and occupies the Corniche de Goas Treiz from the tourist office onwards.
