Culture

The south porch and the southern arm of the parish church of Notre-Dame date from the second half of the 16th century. Since 22 December 1927, the parish church has been partially listed as a Monument historique.

The Chapelle Saint-Mélard dates from the late 15th century.

Landscape

The Château de la Grand'Ville was built around 1650 by the knight du Breil de Rays after the Kérimer fortress was demolished. The protected ensemble includes the park and the pond with its dam. La Grand'Ville has an English landscape park with an 800 m long ha-ha, a walled ditch that connects the garden and the landscape and is quite rare in France. The grounds include a dovecote with around 700 nesting openings. The château can be reached via the centre of Bringolo.

In Keryouet stands Le Colosse, a pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.; synonym Quercus pedunculata). It is 14 m tall, has a spread of 13 m and a circumference of 6.40 m. In April 2004, it was awarded the title “Arbre remarquable” by the national A.R.B.R.E.S. association.

Events

The Pardon de Bringolo takes place on the fourth Sunday in July. During the Gardens Day in June, the park is open to the public.
