Gomené: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Gomené combines prehistoric traces, distinctive buildings and paths through the town. The Menhir de la Pellionaye is a megalithic monument that bears witness to prehistoric human settlement in the Gomené area. At the same time, it is one of the noteworthy points along the hiking trails in Gomené.

Buildings and the Past

The Chapelle Saint-Guénaël has a rectangular layout, a polygonal apse and an openwork roof turret. Its foundation stone was laid on 25 April 1875, and the chapel was consecrated on 2 August 1876.

The Manoir des Aulnays was formerly owned by the Le Voyer family and housed an agricultural school from 1843 to 1849. The manor is also one of the noteworthy points along the hiking trails in Gomené.

In the wider region around Gomené, La Fontaine de Barenton is an ancient site, as is Le Chêne de Guillotin. The Abbaye de Boquen is a monastery there, Château de Josselin is a castle, and Bel Air is a mountain.

La Corbinière has been granted the status of an “espace naturel sensible” by the Côtes-d'Armor département.
