History and architectural heritage
The Château de Monsec has been known since the 14th century. It consists of two wings arranged at right angles to each other and connected by a pavilion. The protected ensemble of the Château de Monsec includes the park, the terraces and the Tour de la Vierge.
The Church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Mouzens contains an ensemble comprising the main altar. The church's main altar ensemble was classified as a protected historic monument in 1980. The church's altarpiece ensemble dates from the 17th century and was transferred there from the Benedictine nunnery of Fontgaufier.
The choir of the Church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption in Mouzens dates from the 12th century. In the Middle Ages, the parish of Mouzens was under the authority of the castellany of Bigaroque.

Hiking
The Boucle de Mouzens is an easy 6.9 km circular hiking trail with a stated walking time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. It is designated as a footpath focusing on cultural, historical and natural features.
The Boucle de Mouzens follows the Rue de l’Abbaye des Augustins and the Rue de la Gravette, and is then signposted with green and yellow trail markings. It starts at a car park at the edge of the village in the direction of Saint-Cyprien.
