History and Village Landscape
Roquepine was founded as a bastide by King Henry III of England in the 13th century. Roquepine was an English bastide from the 14th century that has since disappeared; major battles took place there during the Wars of Religion.

The Boucle de Roquepine–Saint Radegonde can be completed on foot, on horseback and by mountain bike; the stated times are 3 hours 40 minutes, 1 hour 50 minutes and 1 hour 35 minutes, respectively. The ruins of the Moulin de Pincanelle mill can be seen from the trail.
Landscape
Along the Boucle de Roquepine–Saint Radegonde, Périgord architecture and distinctive roofs with flat tiles can be seen on farms and barns. In Sainte-Radegonde, the Bournègue flows through a broad valley.
