Culture

The historic trail leads to the vanished Cistercian abbey of Peyrouse and past the Maison forte de Bonnefond, a fortified house. It also crosses streams and the Queue d’Ane River.

The church of Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas dates back to the 12th century. On its south side is a heavily weathered bas-relief depicting Saint Martin. The Manoir des Merles, also called Manoir de Pavillon on old maps, is a manor house dating from the 17th century that was built by the Faurichon family.

The blue circular route includes a historic trail with information boards.

Circular Walks

The Boucle des Bardonnies is a 7.1 km circular walk starting in Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas; it can be completed on foot. The Boucle de Saint Martin de Fressengeas Sud begins in the village centre and runs through the southern part of the municipality. It is officially approved by the Fédération Française de Randonnée.
