Nature

The Záříčské louky nature reserve protects the dusky large blue (Maculinea nausithous), scarce copper (Lycaena dispar) and their habitat. The protected area lies in the March floodplain between Chropyně and Záříčí and extends along the cadastral boundaries. This gives the natural area, in addition to the two named butterfly species, a clearly defined geographical context.

Water

The natural water reservoir Piskáč is located in Záříčí. Fishing is possible at Pískáč gravel lake; swimming is also possible there. These two details refer to different water activities and can be considered separately when planning. Culture

The connection to Chropyně and the 15-kilometre loop are two different points of reference: one describes the route’s continuation, while the other gives the length of a specific route through the floodplain forests.

The March floodplain indicates the geographical setting, the gravel lake offers two possible water activities, and the monuments represent several forms of religious and local remembrance.
