Culture

The heritage complex of Přílepy consists of the castle, the adjacent park and the more distant Chapel of Our Lady of Svatý Hostýn. The complex also includes architecturally valuable buildings from the mid-19th century in the Neo-Gothic style. The history of the castle goes back further: in 1852, the old fortress of Přílepy, dating from 1628, was demolished and a castle was built in its place.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Svatý Hostýn is maintained by the municipality and local residents.

Nature

Přílepy Castle Park is accessible year-round for walks and recreation. It includes walking paths, larger lawns, as well as individual and group plantings of coniferous and deciduous trees.

A retention basin lies on the Mojena stream. Since 2001, it has served recreational purposes and is frequently used for swimming during the summer months. Together with the castle park, it forms another clearly designated place for leisure and recreation in Přílepy.

Hiking

The marked Přílepy–Hrad–Žopy route begins at the lower bus stop and leads uphill through the village square to the forest chapel. It then continues through the forest via Křížnice and Ploština to the Hrad trail junction. Another route is Přílepy–Křídlo–Hlinsko pod Hostýnem (Rusava), which follows the blue-marked hiking trail in its entirety.

Křídlo, a castle ruin in a beech forest, lies along this route. The Hrad summit on the route is 560 metres above sea level and features large stones and a campsite. The named waypoints give the hiking trails their own sequence of village, forest, ruin, summit and trail junction.

Cycling

A cycling route also passes through Přílepy: the Holešov–Rusava connection runs through the village and then returns to Holešov. There is also a bus connection from Rusava to Holešov.
