Vysoká: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Vysoká viewpoint summit, at 585 metres above sea level, is the destination of a KČT hiking route. The route can be shortened to 13.5 kilometres to Mírovka or to 18 kilometres to Pohled; both endpoints have train connections.

History

The first written mention of the municipality of Hohentann (Vysoká) dates back to 1308.

Nature

The area around Vysoká is suitable for recreational walks. The Vysoká mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Vysoká.

The nature information board “Ptáci na krmítku” is located in the village square in front of house no. 6 in Vysoká. The “Rybník” nature information board is located by the Novosvětský rybník pond.

Landscape and Culture

The Orlík ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of Vysoká. The mountains Rosička, Světka and Blažkov, the Želivský Kláštor monastery and Smetanovy sady are also located in this wider regional area.

Activities

The Vysoká Riding Club offers agrotourism in the form of horseback rides in nature. The Havlíčkův Brod – Okrouhlička – Vysoká – Havlíčkův Brod cycling loop is 25.5 kilometres long.
