Vysoká Lhota: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Vysoká Lhota lies on the border between the Vysočina Region and the South Bohemian Region. The village has a chapel with a small bell tower. In front of its entrance, among the trees, there is a metal cross set into a stone pedestal. Another historic remnant stands in the bushes at a crossroads on the way to the locality of “Peklůvko”: a pedestal from a former cross has been preserved there.

History

The history of Vysoká Lhota presumably dates back to the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. The first written mention of the village dates from around 1430.

The mountains of Vrchy, Orlov, Tlučin and Troják lie in the surroundings of Vysoká Lhota. Each of these four mountains is located in the immediate vicinity of the village.
