Zmišovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, Zmišovice, with nine farms, was the largest village in its historical judicial district. The historical judicial district of Zmišovice, the “rychta”, was located in the centre of the Červená Řečice estate and was headed by a bailiff.
History
The residents of Zmišovice and Těchoraz took their grain to the nearby Pod Hodějovicí mill. At least one public Catholic confession has been documented for the residents of Zmišovice and Těchoraz since the mid-17th century.
Culture
Červená Řečice Chateau is a national cultural monument and features a distinctive Renaissance fortification system. Želivský Kláštor Monastery is located in the vicinity of Zmišovice. In the Želiv basin landscape, a monastery complex inhabited by Premonstratensians shapes the character of the landscape.
