At the eastern edge of Hojovice, St. Wenceslas Church stands on a slight hill beside a road near the village square. Its mortuary chapel and the cemetery in use form, together with the church, a unified complex surrounded by an enclosing wall.
Culture and History
St. Wenceslas Church in Hojovice was built in 1713. Mass is held in the branch church every third Saturday of the month. The village’s sacred heritage also includes the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, dating from around 1840, and the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk, dating from the late 19th century.
