Hojovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At the eastern edge of Hojovice, St. Wenceslas Church stands on a slight hill beside a road near the village square. Its mortuary chapel and the cemetery in use form, together with the church, a unified complex surrounded by an enclosing wall.

Culture and History

St. Wenceslas Church in Hojovice was built in 1713. Mass is held in the branch church every third Saturday of the month. The village’s sacred heritage also includes the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, dating from around 1840, and the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk, dating from the late 19th century.

The Podstupský vrch and Tlučin hills are located in the immediate surroundings of Hojovice. The Hora and Vrchy hills are also located around Hojovice. In the wider regional area are the churches of Svatá Anna, Svatý Jan, and Svatý Ondřej.

A cycling route runs through Hojovice from Černovice via Choustník to Červená Lhota. A local attraction is the newly established fallow deer farm in Hojovice.
