The Municipal Museum in Velká Bíteš also displays examples from the latest discoveries in its exhibition of minerals and rocks. Among the oldest objects in the collection of the Municipal Museum in Velká Bíteš are individual medieval items and archaeological finds.
The Church Fortress of St. John the Baptist in Velká Bíteš is an extraordinary architectural monument of the High Gothic period. It is surrounded by a continuous stone wall with bastions, in which loopholes have been preserved to this day.
The town hall of Velká Bíteš has been documented at its present location since 1480. The current town hall building acquired its present appearance in 1886; at that time, a new Neo-Renaissance building designed by the architect Mór Kallina was erected on the original cellars.
The oldest part of Velká Bíteš has been protected as a heritage site since 1958 and consists of an elongated, spacious square lined with burgher houses.
