Culture and village history
The Church of St Lawrence is a Baroque church with origins dating back to the second half of the 13th century. It was rebuilt between 1736 and 1759. The tradition of amateur theatre is also part of the village’s history: it was revived in 1992 after a twenty-year interruption.

Bohdalovsko Nature Park comprises numerous ponds and is characterised by peat bogs and a species-rich fauna. The educational trail through Bohdalovsko Nature Park is 34 km long. One station on the educational trail includes Bohdalov and Chroustov as well as the Baba – V bukách Nature Reserve.
Aquatic and wetland fauna and flora, as well as specially protected species, occur in Laguna u Bohdalova. The pools of Laguna u Bohdalova were formed after the extraction of brick clay.

Blažkov Mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Bohdalov. The surrounding area also includes Dědkovská hora, Rosička and Kopeček mountains.
