Třesov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the centre of Třesov stands the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk, built in 1857. It is considered the village’s most significant cultural and historical monument.

Nature

The Dalešice Reservoir is up to 85 metres deep, making it the deepest reservoir in the Czech Republic. Along the reservoir, the steep slopes are up to 100 metres high in places. The partially flooded rock formation Wilsonova skála, with its lookout point, is 2.5 kilometres from Třesov.

Babí hora mountain is located in the vicinity of Třesov. The mountains Horka, Křemel and Záhoří are also located around Třesov.

Culture and history

The Statue Svobody in Třesov was unveiled on 10 July 1938 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Czechoslovakia. In the vicinity of Třesov are the Rabštejn ruins, the Church of Svatý Marek and the Myslibořice château park. The Tempelštejn ruins are located farther away in the wider region around Třesov.

Water and trails

The Třesov landing stage is located near the Stropešín Bridge between Třesov and Stropešín. It is particularly used by cyclists and hikers who want to combine a boat trip with an excursion by boat to both sides of the Dalešická přehrada. The regular Horáčko boat service operates from April to October.

Events

The Třesovská lávka returned to Třesov in 2022 after a 16-year break and takes place on Třesov village green. It attracts numerous participants and spectators to Třesov.
