Krhov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Historical buildings in Krhov include the Church of St. James the Elder and the Baroque château. The church is an Early Gothic church dating from the second half of the 13th century and was remodelled in the Baroque style in the 17th century. The Baroque château of Krhov was built at the end of the 18th century and incorporates the core of the former fortress; it is currently not open to the public.

Landscape and Surroundings

The nearby surroundings of Krhov include Stříbrná hora mountain and the château park of Myslibořice. The ruins of Rabštejn and the Záhoří, Hardeky and Babí hora mountains are located in the surrounding area. Further afield in the region are the ruins of Tempelštejn and the Church of Svatý Marek.

Trails and Monuments

The Hrotovicko educational trail runs along the eastern boundary of Krhov’s cadastral area. The Račický potok stream flows along the wooded eastern edge of Krhov. Local monuments in Krhov include the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. A wooden statue of Krakonoš stands on the road to Bačice and is considered a small tourist attraction.
