Bransouze: Holiday apartments and houses

Bransouze lies in a valley on the right bank of the Jihlava. The Jihlava–Třebíč–Raabs cycle route runs through the village; the cycle route from Bransouze to Třebíč is about 20 kilometers long. A red-marked hiking trail also runs through Bransouze.

Water

Bransouze swimming pool has an extensive lawn area for sunbathing. Built in 1977, the swimming pool complex comprises a swimming pool and accommodation with 60 beds.

Culture and history

The historic house No. 10 in Bransouze is a listed monument, dates from the first half of the 18th century, has a stucco façade, and is under state monument protection. The figure on the municipal seal of Bransouze was identified as Saint Adalbert.

The ruins of the former Bransouze fortress lie on the left bank of the Jihlava. The fortification is surrounded by a moat and an earthwork. The fortress was destroyed during the Bohemian–Hungarian Wars and was not rebuilt.

The historic Masopust celebration in Bransouze comprised three days of music and masked figures. In 1906, the old mill in Bransouze began to be converted into a tannery.
