Přešovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Around Přešovice, the meandering Rokytná River retains its natural landscape character in the nearby area, with old riverside trees and numerous rock formations. South of the built-up part of the municipality, the Rokytná also forms the boundary between the Vysočina Region and the South Moravian Region.

Nature and landscape

The Rokytná Nature Park also extends across the cadastral area of Přešovice and covers 2,870 hectares. It protects the landscape character of the local hilly uplands, with the distinctive valley cut by the Rokytná and its numerous deeply incised meanders. The nature park contains several Sites of Community Importance (SCIs) and a nature reserve. The European protected area Řeka Rokytná covers 123.678 hectares.

Around Přešovice are Stříbrná hora, Václavský Kopec and Příčník, each of which is considered a mountain. In the wider regional area, there is also Babí hora, which is likewise considered a mountain.

Cycling route

The Mlynářská stezka leads to Přešovice along a dirt road, crosses road III/4006 there, and then continues along road III/4007 to Litovany and onward towards Radkovice. As a cycling route, the Mlynářská stezka passes through Rouchovany, Přešovice, Litovany and Biskupice-Pulkov.

Culture and history

Přešovice has the Church of St Peter and Paul, built in 1908 in the Neo-Romanesque style. There is also a monument to the victims of the world wars; a traditional pilgrimage was also held in Přešovice.

Around Přešovice are the sites of Rabštejn and Tempelštejn, which are considered ruins, as well as Myslibořice Chateau Park, which is considered a park. In the wider regional area of Přešovice is Karlslust Chateau, which is considered a chateau.
