Radošov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The first surviving record, dating from 1365, introduces Radošov in the history of the locality. The location of Vávrovecký rybník is equally specific: it lies between Radošov and Horní Smrčné.

History and culture

A school was built in Radošov in 1888. The building of the former general school now serves as the Radošov cultural centre.

The cultural centre is the focal point of the annual event “Do Radošova ke kapličce sv. Jiljí”, which invites tourists to the Radošov cultural centre. The fifth edition took place on 14 March 2026 and was announced in both hiking and cycling formats. At this event, participants are offered refreshments and live music at the Radošov cultural centre.

The Chapel of Saint Giles is located southwest of Radošov near Vávrovecký rybník.

Water and landscape

Rybník Vavrovec near Radošov is visited by people from the wider surrounding area for swimming and recreation. At Vávrovecký rybník there is a small grassy beach with a gently sloping access to the water.

The mountains Panský kopec and Hradiště lie in the wider regional surroundings of Radošov. The mountains Řehořovský vrch and Čechtínský kopec are also located in the vicinity of Radošov.

On the “Radošov & Horní Smrčné” section of the “Rokštejnský okruh s návštěvou pivovaru”, the route begins to descend towards the valley of the Brtnice.
