Sudice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sudice combines a village-influenced cultural landscape with a long history and concrete opportunities for walks and swimming. The village lies in hilly terrain on both banks of the Sudický potok stream and also extends into a hollow on both banks of a stream.

Landscape and Trails

The route through the surroundings of Sudice follows a blue-marked hiking trail as well as forest and field paths. At the edge of the village lies a small pond where swimming is possible.

Culture and History

Sudice belongs to the Horácká folk architecture region in its local Dyjsko-Oslavská form. In the centre, the houses feature floor plans and layouts that follow the traditional local settlement type. Outside Sudice stands a wayside shrine classified as an immovable cultural monument under number 15645/7-3067.

The chapel dedicated to Saint Medardus on the village square is a local landmark, a characteristic building of Sudice, and historically significant. The Masaryk School is also one of the characteristic buildings in the village; its building dates from the first third of the 20th century. Sudice was first mentioned in the founding charter of Třebíč Monastery in 1101.
