Landscape

The built-up part of Klučov lies at the foot of Klučovská hora in the valley of the Střížovský potok stream at an elevation of 537 m. Klučovská hora is 595.5 m high.

The natural area includes the Klučovský kopec Natural Monument, which was first placed under protection on 28 October 1982. The protected area preserves populations of several protected species, especially the great pasque flower. Below Klučovská hora lies Horák Pond near the Klučovský kopec Natural Monument.

Culture

On the village green in Klučov, House No. 17 preserves a kitchen with a Czech flat vault.

Hiking and Cycling

The Třebíčský okruh is marked with yellow tourist trail markings and passes through Klučov as a hiking route. The 18.9 km tour “In Search of Views under Klučovská hora” follows forest paths and the yellow-marked hiking trail along the slope of Klučovská hora.

Several cycling routes also take in Klučovská hora and Klučov. Cycle Route 401 connects Třebíč, Klučov, Lipník, Hrotovice and Dukovany. The 35–40 km cycling tour “Into the Forests beyond Lipník” leads over the wooded ridge of Klučovská hora to Klučov and onwards to Lipník. The 16 km cycling route “To the Pasque Flowers and the Alpine Viewpoint” leads over Klučovská hora and returns to Třebíč via Cycle Route 401.
