Vícenice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Holý kopec is a significant lookout point above Vícenice; excursions there are possible from Vícenice. The New Year's ascent of Holý kopec is an event for sport and active leisure involving walking. It took place on January 1, 2025, for the third time, and on January 1, 2026, for the fourth time, thereby becoming established as a local tradition.

Svatý Vít is a mountain in the vicinity of Vícenice, as is Tašky. Sadek and Mikulovická hora are mountains in the surrounding area of Vícenice. The protected orchid species Orchis morio occurs in the vicinity of Rybník Oklika pond near Vícenice.

History

The inhabitants of Vícenice preserved their freedom; the owners of the estates remained directly subordinate to the king as free farmers.

Customs and events

A Masopust festival with a masked procession took place in Vícenice on February 17, 2024, and February 8, 2026. The “Pouťový víkend” in Vícenice combined a sports morning with an evening event on June 22, 2024. On June 22 and 23, 2024, this event also included a procession through the village and the felling of the maypole.
