Trnava's natural surroundings are particularly tangible at Kobylinec: The 0.44-hectare nature monument is located in the cadastral area of the municipality of Trnava and is part of Třebíčsko Nature Park. Kobylinec lies along blue- and yellow-marked hiking trails. Several hiking and cycling trails run through Třebíčsko Nature Park, passing directly through Trnava.

The immediate surroundings of Trnava include the Kopaniny and Křemel mountains; the Záhoří and Horka mountains are also located in the area. Around Velký Bor pond, visitors can see beaver dams and trees gnawed by beavers. An atonement cross near the dam of Velký Bor commemorates a story from the mid-17th century.

Culture and History

After the former church was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War, construction of the present-day Church of Saints Peter and Paul began in 1665.
