Třebelovice: Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the centre of Třebelovice stands the Chapel of Saint Florian. It is an immovable cultural monument and provides the village with a distinctive cultural landmark. The first written mention of Třebelovice dates from 1365; in 1609, Třebelovice became part of the Jemnice estate.

Culture and History

In addition to the chapel, several other monuments are part of the village’s history. House No. 106 in Třebelovice is an example of folk architecture from the late 18th century. There is also a monument commemorating the inhabitants who fell in the First World War. One wayside shrine has a Tuscan column with entasis, supporting a four-sided chapel with a roof in the shape of a truncated pyramid.

Transport and Railway History

Třebelovice has regular bus services. The road from Jemnice via Rácovice to Moravské Budějovice runs through the village. The railway is also connected with the history of the village: construction of the railway line from Moravské Budějovice to Jemnice began in 1895, and the line ran through Třebelovice. Třebelovice railway station is an immovable cultural monument.

Water and Landscape

The Bihanka watercourse flows through the Třebelovice area. The Třebelovický potok watercourse is also located in Třebelovice. Bouňovec Pond is a significant body of water in Třebelovice.

Railway, Views and Paths

The excursion train runs from Jemnice via Lhotice, Třebelovice, Rácovice, Dědice and Jackov to Moravské Budějovice. In the observation car, it offers tourists unusual views of the landscape. Marked paths for pedestrians and hikers run along the railway line.
