Náměšť nad Oslavou combines a significant Renaissance monument with the river landscape of the Oslava and protected natural areas within the town. Náměšť nad Oslavou Castle was built on a rocky massif on the left bank of the Oslava and is considered an important example of Renaissance architecture in Moravia.
Culture and History
The castle grounds include an English park and a small French garden. Numerous old and rare trees characterize the grounds, while the view extends over Náměšť and the surrounding landscape. Another historic landmark is the Baroque bridge over the Oslava near Náměšť nad Oslavou, built in 1737.
