Zahrádka: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Náměšťské rybníky pond landscape is located in the surroundings of Náměšť nad Oslavou, including between the municipalities of Náměšť nad Oslavou, Okarec, Smrk, Hostákov, Nárameč, Budišov, Pyšel, Zahrádka and Ocmanice, and comprises several dozen ponds.

Nature

Rybník Stejskal pond is located in the territory of the municipality of Zahrádka and is fed by the Maršovecký potok stream. It covers 12.57 hectares and is used mainly for fish farming and recreational purposes.

Dubovec pond near Častotice is known for its numerous birds. Thirteen wader species can be observed in the Náměšťské rybníky pond landscape.

Mount Horka is located in the immediate surroundings of Zahrádka. The mountains Koní hora, Babí hora and Křemel are also located in the surroundings of Zahrádka.

Things to do

The 10-kilometre route “Údolím řeky Oslavy k rozhledně v Ocmanicích” is suitable for cyclists and hikers. The route runs from Naloučanský Mlýn, also called Jeřábkův mlýn, along the Oslava Valley to Zahrádka. It passes Dubovec pond and continues to the Ocmanice observation tower.

Culture

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is an important building in Zahrádka. In the wider regional surroundings of Zahrádka are the ruins of Rabštejn, the ruins of Tempelštejn, Veveří Castle and the Church of Svatý Marek.
