Culture and History

The chapel in Rohy is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was built in 1906. The first written mention of Rohy dates back to 1377; at the same time, the settlement is said to have been founded in the 13th century.

Near Rohy stands a monument to ten citizens who fell in the First World War. A cast-iron cross dating from 1868 stands on the road to Oslavička. A wayside shrine stands in the fields behind Rohy, while Farmstead No. 15 has been preserved as a vernacular building from the 19th century.

Events

On 30 April 2026 from 6 p.m., the annual “Pálení čarodejnic” celebration was scheduled to take place at the playground near KD Rohy, with refreshments available.
