Trails
The Posázavská cycling route runs above the river and along the embankment of a former railway line to Sázava.
The Přibyslav–Sázava cycle path opened in 2011, is more than 9 kilometres long, and runs along the track bed of a disused railway line. It is suitable for cycling and inline skating. At both ends – in Sázava and Přibyslav – it connects to local cycle paths.
Culture and History
In Sázava, the Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is shaped like a biblical ark and features a 15-metre-high metal cross.
Pekelský mlýn stands on the left bank of the Sázava River on the edge of Sázava, on the road to Velká Losenice. A hammer mill is mentioned at the site of Pekelský mlýn from the mid-14th century onward.
