Bolesín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
A prominent landmark near Bolesín is Hraběcí stolek. The rocky viewpoint is located on a rocky outcrop at an elevation of 530 metres and offers views of a meander of the Svratka and the Vír II Reservoir. Since 2026, the area has officially been protected as a nature reserve.
Nature and Trails
The Hraběcí stolek Nature Reserve features a small waterfall and spring areas; the rare Austrian spring snail (praménka rakouská) lives there. The “Pohádková stezka na Hraběcím stolku” fairy-tale trail begins at the bus stop in Bolešín and ends at Hraběcí stolek. It is intended for children aged three and over.
Cycling
The more challenging version of the “Za výhledy” cycling tour is 45 kilometres long and suitable for trekking and mountain bikes. The route passes through Rovečné, Bolešín and Koroužné across hilly terrain with forests, meadows, villages and paths. Along the way, the route sections pass four observation towers and viewpoints.
Culture and Remembrance
The “U Šikulů” guesthouse in Bolešín is located in a former school building. There is also a monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars near Bolešín.
