Račín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Mlýnský potok a Uhlířky natural monument protects a meandering stream as well as sites of moisture-loving flora and fauna. It encompasses the cadastral districts of Račín u Polničky, Velká Losenice, and Vepřová and is part of the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. Mount Světka lies in the immediate vicinity of Račín; the mountains Rosička, Žákova hora, and Devět Skal are also located in the surrounding area. The Račínský Circuit runs predominantly through wooded terrain.

Experiences

The Račínská Footbridge event takes place at Jordán Pond in summer; during it, cyclists cross the pond on a narrow bridge.

Local Delicacies

The Račín Richard Microbrewery brews six basic types of beer. Richard’s beers are bottom-fermented lager-style beers and are also unfiltered and unpasteurized. By prior arrangement, the Račín Richard Microbrewery offers groups of eight or more people short brewery tours with beer tasting.

Culture

During the traditional Masopust carnival in Račín, a procession went from house to house on 21 February, preserving local folk traditions.
